Impact of Vienna incident on India

What happened in Vienna cannot be probably justified, but all the more what happened in India cannot be justified at all. India is supposed to be a secular state. But what we see is due to issues from one of the modern religions, a state is burning. Due to conflicting beliefs of a group of people curfew has been imposed. Secularism - The word secular was inserted into the Preamble by the 42nd amendment act of 1976, during emergency. It implies equality of all religions and religious tolerance. India, therefore does not have an official state religion. Every person has the right to preach, practice and propagate any religion they choose.
What we saw is followers of the same religion are unable to co-exist in a state. Is this what we should project to the world?
The hooligans who destroyed public property should be identified from the various video footages and should be arrested. The law should be amended such that these criminals should be subjected to severe imprisonment.Further most of the people found destroying bus were not found wearing the sikh turban. These youngsters should be taught the purpose and value of religion. They do not understand the need or cause of dispute. How would the unfortuante killing of one person get solved by burning trains and buses in India? Will he get his life back? I wonder whether this will in anyway solve the problems that are prevailing in the society. People are being blinded by wrong faith.Religion and rituals should be eye openers to think good; act good and speak good. Destroying public property deoe not help or solve anything at all.
